AI curtails flights due to cabin crew shortage
Air India has cancelled or temporarily withdrawn as many as 12 flights from its domestic and international network, which include services to Kabul and Kuala Lumpur, due to shortage of cabin crew. Passengers onboard an Air India plane had a close shave for the second consecutive day as it suffered a bird-hit while landing at the city airport in Indore on Wednesday. Close shave for Air India plane carrying over 100 passengers
Over 100 people on board an Air India plane had a close shave when two tyres of the left landing gear of the aircraft deflated soon after it landed at the IGI airport in New Delhi on Tuesday. “Air India’s Mumbai-Bhopal-Indore-Delhi flight (IC-133) with 100 passengers and six crew members landed at Delhi airport around 10.58 a.m and was taxiing towards the parking bay when engineers at the ground noticed...

A team of Boeing executives is arriving in Mumbai from the United States to discuss with Air India management issues relating to aircraft deliveries, including 27 Dreamliners whose delivery has been delayed. Air India joint venture won't employ its surplus staff
Air India-Singapore Airport Terminal Services (AISATS), the ground handling arm of the state-owned carrier, will hire 90 per cent of its workforce on contract to start operations at the new terminal of the Delhi airport, according to a senior Air India (AI) official.
